> 3 dayThis puzzle is SO fun. Its super sturdy, the pieces lock together well, the packaging is nice. It comes with a HUGE poster and the back outlines where to look for the specific movies as well as spaces to write down answers. You have to think outside the box and a lot of the answers are word plays or puns. I cant wait to do the other puzzle in this series. 100% recommend.

> 3 dayHad a lot of fun! Decent cardboard quality, pieces fit together well and interlock so you can move small sections around as needed. Which is good, because I did this without referencing the box/poster at all and had to constantly rearrange as I figured out where things went. Minimal puzzle dust. Pretty standard piece shapes but enough variety to help find pieces by shape as well as color. Image is clear and fun to put together. The puns are great, some were real groaners. Partner and I both enjoyed. Im not a huge movie buff, but was able to figure out quite a few. When you do go to figure out the movie references, the poster has a QR code to the website where the answers are. I like that the answer page does not show them all at once, so you can just reveal one at a time as you guess which is a nice touch! Made it easy to go through and guess without having to write on the included poster key.

Greater than one weekBought this for my daughter when she was stranded in a household of roommates with co-vid. She saved it until everyone was well because they are all movie buffs. Told me it was both addictive and fun. First, you do the puzzle, then you are quizzed on what movies the pictures represent.

07-06-2025Normally, I wouldnt call a puzzle a particularly engaging activity - its more of an idle time thing. But with the little riddles mini-game in the puzzle as you solve it, its transformed and elevated the jigsaw puzzle experience! Now its not just about completing the picture (beautifully illustrated btw!), its also about guessing the right movies. And theres a lot to discover! Love that its no-plastic, and only $20 with great high-quality pieces that dont shred or come apart!!

> 3 dayBought this for my wife, who put this together in about a week. She did a little bit here and there, when she had some free time to put the full puzzle together. She then included myself in trying to figure out the the movies from the puzzle. I think we did a good job, considering a few of the clues were a little obscure, but we only missed 2 or 3, and left 2 or 3 blank. Was a fun and made us think with the clues. Would love to see another one like this, and we are looking at other puzzles like this to do in the future.

> 3 dayMy boyfriend and I purchased this in preparation to a quarantined New Year’s Eve celebration. We had a blast guessing the movies once we competed the puzzle.

Greater than one weekListen, if youre like me, an adult son of two much older adults, with other adult children involved, the holidays can be a little tough. Being forced to watch cycles of family drama set in stone during childhood play out over and over again is bad enough. But even when everyones vibing, landing on something entertaining that everyone can enjoy can be a challenge, especially with ones parents settling more and more comfortably into old-age. Mom doesnt have the emotional fortitude for Settlers of Catan, and at age 31 I still refuse to learn the rules of backgammon and that wont change just because suddenly were all supposed to go along to along. But a nice jigsaw? Thats right in the sweet spot. Everyone knows the rules, everyone can participate, and the more hands involved, the better. And the geniuses at Big Potato have upped the ante, because its a picto-puzzle on top of a jigsaw puzzle. Thats a double-puzz, baby. And the picto-puzzle in itself is a combination of a pun competition and a trivia game. The visual puzzles in Night at the Movies are reminiscent of the joyful chaos on the back of a particularly good cereal box back in the day. So now, while my parents basked in the warm soothing feeling of successfully putting two like shapes together, me and my siblings were getting that beautiful endorphin rush of getting jokes, combined throwing movie references at one another. The words fun for the whole family get thrown around quite a lot these days. But my entire family had fun
