Night Owl Security Camera Power Adapter with 4-Way Power Splitter

As advertised

replaced same unit for cameras in security system (NightOwl from Costco). For whatever reason, both the DVR power supply and Camera power supply failed just a few weeks from each other. Now I have replaced both and unit works fine again. This one was putting out ~1 amp and it needs 2. Cameras and night vision were blinking on and off from lack of power. Original power supplies only lasted 9 months each... hopefully this last longer. Wasnt worth the warranty effort to deal with company- easier to buy them here.

I had to buy this when the original that came with the cameras didnt have sufficient power. Night Owl was supposed to send a replacement but apparently didnt want to because they didnt know whether I needed just the slitter, the power source or both. I got tired of waiting and dropped the $15 for a replacement (their cost would have been less than that including postage). The unit hasnt had any problems related to the power source since I started using it.

I went on the Night Owl chat help and they helped me figure out what i needed to solve a problem with my system. Unfortunatly i could not buy it through their broken website. I got it on amazon and it is perfect.

Cord is much shorter compared to orginal that comes with a bullet cam

Couldn’t figure out why all my camera stopped working at once. Narrowed it down to a power supply. This was the perfect replacement

Doing the job perfectly

I had to fix my bosses system and this did the trick. No problems for 16 months now
