> 3 dayAn inexpensive Bluetooth label printer that doesn’t require removable batteries or plug an AC adapter. It requires an app that asks you to register to use other features like saving frequently used templates; otherwise, it’s unnecessary if you want to print essential labels. But being a long-time desktop label printer user, it has a lot of drawbacks, including pricey tape refills with a fixed length. This label printer is ideal for travel or basic household labeling chores. So, I’ll stick with our P-Touch for heavy-duty use at home and might bring this along on our trips.

> 3 dayI needed something that would print small labels and this fits the bill. The app was easy to use. The labeler itself is easy to use. It printed out smoothly, and has lots of options for things you can print. It is a little annoying that pushing the button on the labeler will print what ever was printed prior, so I accidentally end up with several double prints.

> 3 dayJust know right up front that this requires an app on your phone to operate, and that app is clearly, how should I put this... foreign. It is rated 4.7 with over 8000 reviews on the Apple App Store, so Ive definitely seen worse. I was not required to make an account, though there may be some features lost. Not overly relevant if you just want to print a few things here and there, I dont need to save designs or see a history of things Ive printed and stuff like that. One thing I noticed immediately though is this thing makes a lot of noise. Not when printing, thats pretty quiet. But somebody decided it would be a good idea to put a speaker in this and have it chirp and chime a lot. Not a fan of that at all. Worth noting if the amount of noise it makes is a potential factor to you. As far as I can tell, there is no way to disable it either. The actual printing is pretty easy, you use the app on your phone to make the design you want to print, with text, numbers and you can even use emojis. Its really fast and comes out exactly like the app shows it.

> 3 dayIt doesnt work without the app, and the app doesnt work either. Fix the app, its currently unusable. The labels that it comes with are tiny, making them nearly useless.

> 3 dayThe Label Maker by Niimbot, is a handy little labeler that can help tremendously with organization with simple and easy operation, but it has some drawbacks. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – Its decent enough quality to get the job done and probable last for a while, but it’s definitely on the budget side of the scale. II. Performance – It’s worked pretty good at basic labeling, but will misalign sometimes on the first print. It doesn’t come with some of the font and personizing options others have. The stickers mine came with sucks and doesn’t stick very good. You can always buy new ones, but it doesn’t get off to a good start. I would buy some extras a head of time. The app needs to be redone, it can be hard to use and slow. On a positive note, it provides a simple and effective way to make labels for all those things around the house. The Bluetooth works good to eliminate wires and you don’t need ink. Overall, this is a decent labeler if you’re not concerned with fonts and just need something for doing stuff around the house. It has a low cost and gets the job done. If it was me I’d spend a little more and get a better one with more options. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

19-11-2024I am very pleased with this LabelMaker. It makes perfect labels every time. The software was easy to download for my iPhone. Its easy to learn to use, and print perfect labels every time. I bought it intentionally to label all of the battery chargers and different battery types I have for my tools and toys. I am finding many other uses for it. You can trust the quality.

20-11-2024First thing the app tried to do when I tried to connect, permission to copy from notepad. Why does an app want to copy stuff from my notepad? Took 10 minutes to get the printer to connect. Once it was connected, I tried printing random things, anything just to test it out. I couldnt get anything to print at all.

> 3 dayAfter emailing with Niimbots customer service which was fantastic!! we determined I got a faulty device. My new device works perfectly. Be patient with customer service, they are going to ask for a video showing the issue. I have no issues with this since I am a technician, and you would be surprised as to how some people interpret instructions. I am now giving a 5-star review. This is a great little printer especially for the price but it has one major flaw. I purchased the D101 for the specific purpose of being able to use the smaller labels from the smaller printers. Niimbot accomplished this by including a nice plastic divider that holds the smaller width labels to one side of the printer; here is where the issue is. The auto detect label sensor is on the opposite side that they pin the smaller labels so the device will not auto detect the smaller labels. There are two workarounds for this that I found. You can 1) put the labels in with the divider and manually search for the template youre you have inserted. Or 2) which I found to be easier, is remove the divider then press the new labels to the left side of the printer and close the lid. The printer will then detect the labels and populate your label history under templates. Then when you put the divider back in and it doesnt detect the label you can select from the label history the proper label. This seems almost too dumb of a design to be on purpose. If niimbot reads this and I have a defective device please contact me or reply to this. In the meantime I may be contacting niimbot or returning this device.
