> 3 daySiempre es muy útil tener una abertura amplia lo cual no es tan común en esta distancia focal. Excelente para paisajes urbanos con poca luz, interiores y astro fotografía. Un poco grande y pesado.

> 3 dayI did a lot of lens research after moving into the Z system (Z6ii) as I love to shoot the Milky Way. It was between this and the 14-24 2.8. Besides the cost difference, I loved the additional light that the 1.8 could bring. This lens also got great reviews everywhere, and after using it, I can see why. Even wide open at 1.8, I’m very happy with coma, ca, corners, etc. I was worried about focus by wire, and while I don’t love it, I’ve found the adjustment to be easier than expected. Results are light years beyond my crop sensor days. I would easily recommend this lens for anyone with similar interests.

> 3 dayI like that this lens opens to 1.8. Had the z14-30mm lens but I like this one far better.

> 3 dayInitially I was put off by the length of this lens, but it is giving me beautiful results. I threw it on my Z7 during lockdown, and the first image I took won a National comp, so very impressed with what it can produce. It is very sharp edge to edge, and at 1.8 has pleasing bokeh. This is the first 20mm prime I’ve owned, and I have to admit I can now understand what all the fuss it about. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayWhen I have needed wide angles for my Z7 up to this past week, Ive either used the 35mm Z-mount Nikon I bought a year ago, or, for wider, a Sigma F-mount wide angle zoom which has worked pretty well, with no vignette, but required the mount adapter (which I dislike using as its one more thing to carry and put on and pull off depending on the lens in use). Ive been trying to go to Z mount for all the main lenses I carry, but up to this lens, I wasnt impressed with anything on the market wider than 35mm except for a fisheye (which isnt in the same category as a 20mm). This is not a cheap lens, though, and may be out of the price range for some photographers (especially if you dont use wide angles a lot). Having said all that, this lens is worth every penny.

Greater than one weekI have the old version 20 f1.8G. Comparing to the old one, this Z lens is extremely sharp from corner to corner even in F1.8, which makes it a perfect lens for astrophotography. Of course you can use it for landscape or under any low light condition. I also have the Z 35 f1.8, but honestly if this 20mm f1.8 is coming out first, I will definitely get this one instead of the 35 f1.8, wider is always better. Overall I think this Z lens is beyond my expectation and I am happy to have it!
