I have hyper-sensitive gums, no regular soft toothbrushes will work - they feel like I am brushing my teeth with bottle brush. These are very soft and have little, tiny bristles that sort of feel like they are getting in-between your teeth - which could be wonderful (for cleaning) or horrible (if youve just had delicate surgery) so please be aware that there are days I really *feel* those longer bristles. Overall I recommend these, they are worth the price and worth a try if you have had dental work or are just sensitive!

I bought this toothbrush to use after having a soft tissue graft on a quarter of my teeth. It left my teeth feeling cleaner than my electric toothbrush. It is very soft and gentle and I feel it will work best on the section on which I had the graft when I can brush there.

After using this toothbrush for several weeks now, I am certain I will never go back to using an electric toothbrush. My dentist recommended and sold it to me over 15 years ago. I believed her when she told me it would work much better than a manual toothbrush. This is what I now know to be true: 1) She made a big commission on each one she sold in her office, 2) She told me the vibrations would not harm my bridges, even though I told her it was impossible not to bump my bridges every time I brushed with it, 3) One of my less-than-one-year old 3-tooth bridges came unglued within 2 months after starting to use the electric toothbrush (even though I was extremely careful about trying not to let the brush hit them), which I had to replace it at my own expense, costing me over $3,000, 4) I continued to use an electric toothbrush for many years because she assured me the electric toothbrush didnt cause the bridge glue to break loose (Ive had two bridges for over 45 years now and that is the only time either bridge had to be replaced), 5) When that electric toothbrush finally wore out, I replaced it with another similar brush that also hit my bridges occasionally when using it. After using it for two weeks, I was concerned it would eventually break the glue loose again (several reviewers of electric toothbrushes had mentioned their same concern), so I returned it. 6) Based on the excellent reviews, I bought these brushes to see if perhaps they could cleaned my teeth as well as an electric brush, and in my opinion they do! And I dont have to worry about them hitting my bridges. On the contrary, the bristles are so soft they easily go between my teeth and bridges gently, yet effectively, yet doing no harm. This is a perfect example of how strategic marketing techniques have convinced many of us that a more expensive product is needed to get better results than the old fashioned way we have been doing something all our lives. No more electric toothbrushes for me! I will be using these brushes from now on!

Id give these 10 stars if I could - best soft toothbrush you will ever use. My gums have sensitivity and are receding in places due to harsh bristles and overscrubbing. These super soft brushes clean without the pain, or bleeding and still get the job done. Plus, they look good, last a long time and are priced right!

Even SOFT toothbrushes are not enough softness for our mouth care . We found these EXTRA soft toothbrushes and are very happy that we are not hurting our gums anymore while brushing. We have ordered this toothbrush pack twice now.

I have been using the extra soft brushes for years and will never use another brand.

Bought this because typical extra soft toothbrushes out there are not soft enough for me. My gums need extra care because they are receding. This is as soft as a baby hair brush.
