If you’re wanting a SUPER kitty power-up, this is your guy! It works if you are already in a power-up mode. If not powered up first, you then get a cat bell to turn you into the normal kitty. Fun fun fun!

Ive been tempted to buy the Cat Mario for MONTHS and my boyfriend got it my birthday. I dont buy amiibos simply because of what you get in-game - I buy them because I like how they look. Let me just say, this is the freaking cutest thing ever! The texture is amazing, and the pose is so fun. Looking at this makes me smile so much. He looks great on my shelf and Im super happy. The only thing that would make me happier is if they had an amiibo version of Fury Bowser (who looks AMAZING - missed opportunity there, Nintendo!). But thats for Nintendo - this product is excellent.

I bought this just as a decorative item to go with the princess version to give to the Gf’s kid for Easter along with the Mario 3D game that we could play together. It ended up being a huge addition to the game since it gives the player a mega suit that helps tremendously which made the game a lot easier for the kid while playing. If you don’t have the game, it’s just a fun thing to put on a shelf if you’re a fan of Mario or a collector of Amiibo.

The Cat Mario and Cat peach amiibo are my favorite amiibos, they get far more use than any of my others. They give you a power up every level once, if you take to long to get the power up it will disappear and it will not give you another one until die or restart. Cat Mario gives you an invincible cat bell, while cat peach gives you a random power up. If you can only get one of the two amiibos get the Cat Peach, because it also has a chance of giving you the invincible cat bell. But if you are a speed runner and you use amiibos, get the Cat Mario, because the invincible cat bell is a lot better than any of the power ups you will find in game. During Bowser’s Fury the invincible bell will work until you collect one cat shine and then it turns into a regular cat suit, and you can reuse the amiibo for another invincible cat suit.
