I suggest you buy it because it’s cheaper and ships quickly. It works with Splatoon 2

Great product. Official Nintendo. Not region locked so works in the states just fine. Very happy with price!

Of course, we didnt realize this until it was too late to be returned but we definitely got a lemon. Got on chat support with Nintendo who verified that it was the Amiibo that was the issue as we tested multiple controllers and Amiibos. Be careful with these and definitely test it out ASAP if you decide to roll the dice on this product.
