Nintendo Selects: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Welcome amiibo - Nintendo 3DS

Beware: I received the Animal Crossing New Leaf Edition, but it’s not the Welcome Amiibo as in the amazon photo shown (Amiibo Compatible version. It’s the regular one, which is much cheaper to find elsewhere. Falsely advertised.

My grandson wanted this for his birthday.

I have the copies of this game. Thats how good it is. It takes the good things from the old games and fixes all of the bad. It even includes Easter eggs pointing fun at the bad things! No more Resetti lectures, the cat on the train, Rover its back (and talks less!) The character can wear any clothes regardless of gender, the character can be mayor and instruct towns people to stay up later or plant and water more plants for a more beautiful town, you can customize every part of your house from the gate to the mall box, the pros just go on and on! One thing to note: you will need an external piece of hard ware to use the amiibo function, which can summon traveling salesmen to sell you rare furniture or can summon villagers you want to move in. Bonus: playing this calm, positive game will help you sleep :)

I love this game, it helps me so much with my anxiety and helps me to calm down after a tough day. I would really recommend it to anyone who loves cute games like Stardew Valley. Its my favorite game and Ive been playing it for 4 years. I even purchased this game for 3 of my friends so we can all play together.

This was a great first game for my 9 year old to introduce her to the Nintendo DS - she struggled getting into the game at first and needed a little prompting and help in a few spots, but once she got going she became much more enthusiastic about it and is able to figure out almost any of the tasks that need to be done in the game now.

Purchased for my personal collection. Along with having a new case, the game cartridge has also changed. Also includes (1) random card from the new Welcome amiibo card series. I got the tomato duck, Ketchup.
