> 3 dayChristmas hit for the 14-year-old grandson. Only thing he asked for! He thanked me profusely for it… A 14-year-old thank me for something! That should say something for the product.

> 3 dayThese are among the coolest looking Amiibo Nintendo has every released. So as figurines, Id give them a 5/5. Just as far as functionality in the game, these are probably the worst Amiibo I own except Boo, the Amiibo that glows in the dark and absolutely nothing else. In general, Ive been disappointed by the Splatoon 2 Amiibo for their uninspired functionality, essentially just unlocking an outfit and letting you take screenshots with that character. But in the case of these octo Amiibo, the outfits they unlock are like fashion cancer. They dont fit with the theme or style of the game at all. For example, the octopus unlocks a creepy, dead faced theme park mascot suit, like some knock off Disney character that will kidnap your children and lock them in his basement. Why would I want to dress up my squid-kid in that ghastly thing? He will probably get bullied by the other squid-kids, ostracized by society, and end up smoking sea weed with that spikey haired weirdo that hangs out in the back alley of the Splatoon 1 plaza.

> 3 dayIf you’re into collecting then these are a great addition. I got them for my brother. He scans them into the game and put them with the huge collection of amiibos. Great buy.

R & the triplets Grandma
Greater than one weekOne of our triplet grandsons (age 10) purchased this (with grandmas help) as a gift for his siblings to play with - Im sure he had figured out he would get to use them too. After presents were opened, the childrens disabled father (massive stroke which affected his thinking abilities) played with 2 of the figures before the children. . Now they are associated with his account and the children are unable to re-use them with their characters. I have been told that previous Amiibos could be re-used. Do hope I am wrong - if anyone knows a way these can be re-used by a 2nd person, please post. Thank you!!!
