Nintendo Switch – OLED Model w/ Neon Red & Neon Blue Joy-Con

Had one of those unpatched gen1 Switches and really wanted to upgrade to this model. Glad I did as the colors pop on the screen now and there screen is significantly bigger. Beyond the special TOTK edition, the upgrade to OLED is only worth it if your OG Switch is on its way out or you play handheld often. Or if you have an unpatched gen1 and are willing to sell it as those are currently going for $200 as of June 2023.

The switch itself works great! I purchased as a collectable but unfortunately the switch box arrived smashed on a corner so I might have to get a new one.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! Nintendo made enough of these that its available everywhere, NO SCALPER! THANK GOD! Im not the biggest collector out there but I do have plenty retro consoles and newer stuff, this new Zelda special edition switch is one of my favorite console/thing in my collection now. Holy Moly does this looks nice, Ive never felt a switch console thats made for me, most console have weird color combo and a lot of the special edition is just not special enough. This consoles color, patterns looks so amazing, especially the dock, it looks phenomenal.

It was my very first switch that I have been saving for 3 years now and it looks really neat and the games I can play are very fun!

This is the console to play Nintendo exclusives. You got a great library of games at your disposal, including the best of the best. This is also -currently- the best Nintendo console, so waste no more time and get it.

It looks so much better IRL. Its great. Absolutely happy with this purchase.

My family owns what could probably be called too many Switches, so I have some experience & expectations when it comes to buying them. I’ve never bought one from Amazon but was stunned to see the Splatoon 3 special edition OLED listed, and so far after the release date. I was a little hesitant to order but took finally the plunge a few days ago. It just arrived and I have to say I THRILLED with the device. It’s a North American version, brand new as described. Bear in mind I did order directly from Amazon, so I can’t speak on other sellers. If you see one listed by Amazon & you’ve been on the fence about getting an OLED, do it, I don’t think you’ll regret it. That goes double for the special edition OLED.

The switch dock, joycons and console have some beautiful designs and symbols which would be especially appealing to Zelda fans. If you have a first gen switch or red box (not OLED) this is highly recommended. Sadly the grip, like other special editions doesn’t feature any customization.

I love the OLEDs screen quality, its so sleek. Im a big Splatoon fan and I adore all the little details of this design, if you dont have a Switch or need to replace an old one, this is a great option, specially if you play handheld as the screen is very much worth it.
