bought this a month ago when it was sold by the nintendo company, $199 plus shipping and tax with ended with $123. Came packaged securely and with a charger and the switch in a plastic bag. The battery lasts about four hours for me but three hours when it’s 15%. Bought games for it and the game play is really good graphics and nice feel to it. The joycons have a grip to it and nice the buttons are soft also. Played animal crossing with my friends who also have switch lites and easy connection to the internet. But if you want to play online with local or friends you have to have internet connection! With wifi, it connects just fine and smoothly but with hotspot to a phone or device, it disconnects easily and really angers me. I’ve played many games on it Mario odyssey, Luigis mansion 3, Animal crossing new horizons, and many more and all are good quality. I sometimes give to my little brother and he dropped it a couple times but the screen didn’t crack (Since it’s plastic) and the side buttons click fine. I don’t think it necessary to get a case and screen protector for the switch but your choice is fine. If you already have a the original or newer version of the switch I recommend you shouldn’t get this switch bc it has less features. if you don’t have a switch, this is a really good alternative to the original switch and cheaper regarding the sellers that buy the switches and sell for more. Personally I recommend this switch to new users in the nintendo community! I play this god sent thing everyday nonstop and sometimes I have to force myself to stop! I don’t recommend to buy rn in this pandemic with the prices up to $399, wait have patience and you’ll love this thing!

Love it. Needed a new handheld after the Vita and 3DS stopped reviewing true support. I can already tell this thing will become my Vita 2.0. receives all the same indie and Japanese support as the Vita, with the added bonus of having Zelda games and various other Nintendo exclusives. If you want a handheld and arent interested in the extra features the full Switch has, then this device is definitely worth the money. I also love the yellow color, its so pretty.

This Switch Lite was purchased so I can play 2 games for Pokemon and trade back and forth. I like this style better for ease of use when simply using the buttons and the toggle switches. Its slightly smaller than the original Switch, which I also like.

Its a great size and holds a charge well.

The Good: Smaller form factor that increases its portability. Screen is also smaller, thus a sharper image compared to the regular switch. Despite its smaller size, it is very comfortable to hold in the hands(especially with the JETech grip/case). Better D-Pad than compared to the regular Joycons. Better battery life compared to the HAC-001 regular switch model. The Bad: The joycons are attached to the device, meaning if something goes wrong you either have to fix yourself, or send it in to Nintendo. Games, such as Super Mario Odyssey, have reduced functionality due to the complete lack of rumble and motion controls. If a game doesnt support handheld mode, you cannot play it. There is no work-around. Now for the reason i have given this two stars: Not 20 days in and the right trigger has started missing inputs. Since this isnt a regular switch i cant just get another joycon. Id either have to send it to Nintendo to have it repaired, or return it, which i have done. I have purchased a regular switch as a replacement. Dont let the lower price fool you, the lite is not worth it. Just wait, and get yourself a regular switch.

YES YES YES. I am not a frequent gamer and would not use the switch to hook up to the TV so this handheld only version is perfect for me! I travel a lot and it keeps me occupied. I wish I could get one in every color.

I only just looked inside the package two things I’m very happy with this was sold out everywhere and the was available here and it made it to me crazy fast like a couple days before the actual date and most importantly before Christmas it will make a 9 yr old very happy thank you …. Will buy more from this seller and I’ll update another review when my son opens the gift with video or picture review

All in all this is a great console but no matter what I do I cant keep it connected to the internet and I have trouble getting it to connected to begin with. Nothing is wrong with the internet another device was connected and ran just fine.
