My little night angel, Zippy, absolutely loves this soft, clean sand.

NiteAngel does it again, always pulling through with great products for our small animal friends! This desert sand with added zeolite is very clean with minimal dust. Absolutely worth the price to ensure their respiratory health. I’ve never seen a finer quality sand sold for small animals.

My dwarf hamsters love it! It’s very similar to where their species originated. They love to roll it in as a “bath”. Also, they love to move it out of the container and put it below their paper bedding to burrow in.

I buy this sand for my daughters hamster Harry. She says he loves it, he uses it to bath in & it smells good

As promised

I have a lot of problems with small flies / fungus gnats in the house, which hatch on top of the soil in my houseplants. The only real solution is some sterile sand on top of the soil (which also helps with drainage). But I dont want a 20-pound bag of it. I know this product is pet sand, and I am ASSUMING this is sterile sand. This was a good solution - small bag, clean and sterile. Still a bit expensive, but it worked. No flies yet!

Wanted to get my hamster to bathe in it but he just won’t. I have to kind of rub it around on his fur but it does the job. I also use it in his ‘outhouse’ and it works great for that. Eliminates any smell. Cage stays fresh longer and that makes me happy.

My gerbils use this more for toileting than bathing, but they still love it. No dust!

If you use for sand baths and/or litter boxes for your hamsters, this brand is way too expensive and other brands are just as good at a cheaper price or two for one deal.

This sand is not great quality. I scoop it every day to remove any poop or urine clumps form my hamster using it, and the odor is AWFUL. I have never had any issue like this with other sands I have used for my hamster, but this sand is gross and makes the whole cage have a strong unpleasant odor.
