> 24 hourWe run a hamster rescue so we use a lot of different products. Platforms are one of the things we consider essential for several reasons. Primarily they allow us to use the space efficiently. We can provide the deep bedding hamsters require and still provide for their enrichment needs by setting things on top of the platforms. Sand baths, dig boxes, food and water dishes, ceramic hides, etc. They also solve the issue of safety. Hamsters can burrow as they please and nothing heavy can squish them since the platforms support the weight. Yes the legs can very easily slip off but just put a piece of toilet paper over the peg at the top of the legs and theyll stay on. Easy peasy. To avoid hammy pee soaking into the wood and ruining it you can paint the top of the platform with a few coats of modpodge (perfectly hammy safe) and allow to dry well. Sand lightly to be sure there are no rough spots before putting inside the enclosure. When no longer needed wooden items can be baked at 200F for an hour or so to sanitize before giving to a new hamster.

> 24 hourMy hamster LOVED this product. He loved being able to get up high and look around. I highly recommend gluing popsicle sticks or something along the sides as a border because it is a little slippery and your ham can/will fall off if not careful. Gave it a 4 star due to the safety and because the legs do not stay on. If you lift this item up one or two legs will not follow and youll have to reattach. Its really not that big of a deal, just a tad annoying. Unfortunately my hamster passed away on christmas eve (NOT BECAUSE OF THIS ITEM!!!!) so he cant enjoy it anymore but if he were still here hed tell you to get this for your ham. Side note: if youre getting one of their ladders that attach to this I recommend the LARGE. Medium was too short.

> 24 hourIt’s a great little platform but one of the pieces where the leg attaches broke off, I had to glue it back on.

> 24 hourLegs fall off way to easily other than that this is great. It’s very sturdy and it’s a great platform to put the wheel on!

> 24 hourIt fits in my hamster bin perfectly. Easy to clean. But when I received it I wasn’t sure what the paper tape was for that was in the box. The legs wouldn’t stay in so I wrapped them with paper tape then stuck them in. Then one of the legs came apart and I had to get some wood glue and glue it back together. But after it is perfect.

> 24 hourI got this platform for my mice since they enjoy having different levels. Its very easy to clean and does its job. I will say its difficult to take in and out of the cage due to the legs falling off. Its sturdy enough for my mice to walk on but if I touch it its obviously unstable. I would be cautious buying this for larger hamsters.

> 24 hourVery nice to look at, and it hasnt stained! Pipsqueak loves to smear her blueberries all over the place, and even if the stains are left for several days, they always wash off easily. Its not very sturdy though because the legs dont actually screw on. I ended up taking a dab of super glue to each leg and its much sturdier now that the legs are permanently on.
