> 3 dayMy only dislike about this product is that the wood chips pretty easily.

> 3 dayThis is the perfect sand bath container. My hamster spends so much time in his sand bath. He even uses the back corner as a litter box. The niteangel wheel fits perfect on the ledge. It was a great addition to my niteangel cage.

Greater than one weekLove the removable dish! Very sturdy and overally great product. The lip is removable which is great if you want to add a larger hide in the sand.

Greater than one weekUPDATED REVIEW (4 stars): The company has reached out to me and is sending me a new sandbox. They have excellent communication and fast response time. I feel the need to raise my rating because I really do love their products I have purchased so far. Hoping my hamster really enjoys his new sandbox soon! Original 1 star review: I received a used box that has the urine of who knows what animal in it along with some leftover sand stuck to it. The bowl looks like it was scrubbed really hard as well as some parts are rough. $20 for used wooden box? How am I supposed to sanitize it to be sure it is safe for my hamster?!

> 3 dayI bought the Syrian-sized one originally for my Syrian hamster. It was huge, my wheel had to sit in it because in a 40-gallon breeder tank there just wasnt another place to put it. A 12 inch wheel stand basically takes up all the space in the sand bath though. lol. I had to take off the platform to fit the wheel. I switched it out for my Syrian for a smaller sand bath and moved this one to my robo hamsters cage. Its stacked ontop of a nightangel 6 chamber hide on stilts. This is really the best way Ive found to use this sand bath, otherwise it just takes up too much space in a 640 sq/in enclosure. Cleaning: ugh. Its wood. When I removed it from the Syrian cage there were big pee stains from where the syrian had been using it for like 2 weeks. I decided it wasnt the best use case because of that. The robo doesnt dig to the bottom of the sand bath to pee, so Im hoping she wont stain the inside. If she does its fine since sand will be over it. I prefer the acrylic sand baths for this reason, but Im hoping this big sand bath will actually contain the sand for my robo since she liked to kick all the sand out.

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these, one for each of my Syrians & one of them sleeps in it all the time, I have another small sand bath where they potty because that’s what they were using before I got this & they both pretty much potty trained themselves so to keep it cleaner I just kept their other sand bath as well, it’s more of a sand pit, it’s the pink dome critter sand bath that pet smart sells, which really doesn’t go with my natural cage theme but I’ve been working on a paper mache cover for it, the only thing that would make this product better is if the bottom were an acrylic tray so in case a hamster does potty in it it doesn’t ruin the wood & acrylic is also easier to wipe out than wood
