Noctua NA-FK1 Redux, Second Fan Upgrade Kit for NH-U12S Redux Cooler

I have the single fan cooler and it does a wonderful job of cooling vs the stock cooler. I am about 15 (C) degrees cooler with the Noctua. I went ahead and added this second fan and it gave me about 5 (C) degrees more for a total of 20 (C) vs the stock cooler (AMD).

Nice addition to my Noctua NH-U12S Redux and keeps my i5-12600k plenty cool. A little difficult to add on but thats because I clipped on while heatsink was still in my system and its a tight fit for my hands, but a great product.

Used to add 2nd fan to an NH-D15 where the included 2nd 140mm wouldnt fit due to case width issues. This 120mm fit fine. Using the supplied 2 fan splitter I now have about a 4-5c lowering in temps across idle all the way to full throttle.

I bought this fan adding additional to my CPU cooler fans. Now I have 3 fans total on my cooler fans and my temperature (max when gaming dropped from 70 to 60 ) dropped 10 degrees. I would buy again when needed.

I had to try this with a new Noctua cooler as the 4 heat pipe with 2 120 mm fans allowed my 5900x to hit 93c under heavy loads, which would cause it to throttle down. This gave me an 8-10c drop, keeping me under 90, I wont do water as I dont like the drawbacks to water cooling.

I used mine to replace the 92 mm fan on my Noctua NH-L12 cpu cooler. It fit and functions perfectly in this application.

The fan is quite silent under 1500rpm and is a really good fan for keeping your processor cool. The brackets only fit on nocrua coolers, so if you have any other cooler youll meed their specific brackets in order for this to work.

The hardest thing to do is keep CPUs and GPUs cool in a confined box. Add to this many GPUs dont activate the fans in a misguided effort to save energy by risking GPU card overheating. Many GPUs prevent or make it difficult to defeat these stupid GPU fan disabling energy saving features. The only answer is to fill the box with fans that keep air cooler by keeping air moving.
