> 3 dayI always loved the Noctua fans just because they are one of the quietest ones on the market and produce a lot of airflow. I have a Zotac Zbox I use as a daily driver and I didnt like the temps that I was getting with it being passively cooled. I tried out a bunch of fans that I had and all of them seemed to help a bit, but were 25mm in height which made them too big for the application. I have it nested between my 2 monitors and the 15mm fan would do the trick. The only brand I considered for this was Noctua.

> 3 dayI tried these but was skeptical in the process mainly because theyre slim... They are made by Noctua though so I figured I could trust it at least given their history and my experience with them in the past. amazingly the things have the same static pressure my noisy not so air pushing across the case Thermaltake RGB fans did for my AIO. I was going to use these fans as push then pull with 3 a12x25 behind them in the front of the case, but I wasnt in the mood of chopping the case up. the manufacturer says yeah a rad fits in top too a 240 mm which i dont see how with standard fans! I found out if your motherboard has a vrm heatsink nope... I measured though and a 360 would fit with 3/4 of an inch of clearance and I already had the little fans plus they gave me 6mm of clearance between that vrm and the radiator. So I mated them to the 360 radiator on top and wow! Im blown away by the sheer performance of these things, they seriously pull some air right out of the case and keep the radiator cool enough for any load. My case with these as my exhaust 3 mounted on top with a 360mm radiator and 3 a12x25 fans in the front keep my 2070 super boosting up to 1932mhz at 69 constant temp in any game.

> 3 dayThe OEM front case fan (DF 1202512 SEMN) on my 2009 vintage Rosewill Challenger disintegrated, with the blade broken in two and only the blue LEDs visible.

> 3 dayThese are significantly louder than their full size counterpart. Had I known that, I would have probably figure something else out with my build. They arent particularly loud on low/medium, but medium on these is louder than my full sized 12cm noctua fan at max.

> 3 dayHave not had it for long, but it appears to be good. Was put off buying other much cheaper fans, since there was a high percentage of negative reviews: DOA, noisy, inefficient, or fail soon. Also, 99% of 120mm fans are 25mm or 1 thick without rounded corners, which make them unsuitable for tight spaces.
