As you can see from the pictures I am using these fans (several of them in different sizes) on a custom all - air cooled build. (Asus Hero MB, Intel 12800K and Nvidia 3090 and this Corsair 1000d case is dead silent and runs only a few degrees over ambient in the few hours a day it is used for gaming.

Needed a new fan for the front of my pc case, read reviews on other sites that highly recommended this brand. After first opening it, I thought I got ripped off when I only saw 1 of each color of vibration guards. The next day I took everything out of the box and found the rest of the rubber pieces under the plastic tray, along with the mounting screws.

Like the title says. Night and day difference in quietness and air flow compared to nzxts case fans.

Replaced the fans on my CPU coolers radiator with 2 of these and they made my average CPU temperature go down by 8 degrees. Great product.

These fans are just as good as all of Noctuas fans. The provide superior cooling with minimal noise. Chromax fans are a winner because they come in sleek black as opposed to the East German, baby poop brown color that standard Noctua fans come in. I feel its worth the extra few bucks for this color variation, especially for custom builders who have rigs with windows.

Used these to replace the fans that came with my Corsair H110i cooler. Using the performance mode in the Corsair Link app with these fans in place of the stock fans became quieter than the stock fans on quiet mode. Needless to say I run on performance mode now which yields me a 15 degree celcius drop on cpu temp. So absolutely worth it! Quiet reliable performance!

The resonant humming is so damn loud and annoying. These are not quiet fans at the RPMs which the hum occurs at. Noctua needs to fix this problem but they wont as long as the fanboys keep the hype up.

this is my second purchase of Noctua fans, I’ve been pleased with the performance and noise levels running at high rpms.

After seeing how cool this fan is and how great quality it is, I wish I would have just been patient and gotten the right NH-D15 cpu cooler that I wanted. I settled for the “be quiet!” One and it looks alright, I guess it does a good enough job. But this fan is mounted behind it for the exhaust and it just looks like slightly better quality. This fan came with a bunch of extra corner pads and was easy to install. So the story behind it, not that you probably really care, is that I bought the NH-D15 but failed to pay attention that it wasn’t chromax black. It was the ugly brown kind. Still unboxed it and checked it out. The thing was sick, just ugly brown. Tried to exchange it at micro center but they were out of stock. So I settled for the other one because the salesman convinced me. Maybe someday I’ll drop another $120 to get it to match this fan.
