> 3 dayReplacing OEM CPU fan from a Synology Diskstation DS411+ NAS. Fits great. Connection to motherboard was a little finicky. Luckily, the fan kit includes a generic adapter that just has black and red wires coming out, as well as wire connectors. I cut the wires off the stock fan, stripped the sheathing off. Stripped the sheathing off the Noctua adapter. Joined in the wire connector - easily done by clamping down with a pair of pliers. The waterproof goop also extrudes out into the wire cavity to protect them even more!

Greater than one weekThis comes with a huge package filled mostly with air, Im not sure if this is to prevent shoplifting in a retail store, but for a 40mm fan, the package was huge. The fan itself is silent and moves air well. Im using 3 of these in a 1U rack with an AMD AM1 processor, stock heatsink with fan removed to fit the 1U height and have had no issues with temps. You honestly cant tell these are even running. If Noctua offered a multi-pack for a good price with less packaging, Id buy a lot more of their fans.
