> 3 dayI was replacing the 5v fan in a Netgear switch to be more quiet, but these 5V Noctuas barely move any air (Tried both the 4-pin and 3-pin version of the 5v Noctua.) I ended up putting in a 12V fan that starts at 5v (not Noctua) and it moves more air than the 5v Noctua without too much noise...

> 3 dayThis fan is quite and keeps the Nano from throttling back during extensive AI/DL, however the cable is way too long for a NVIDIA Nano and had to be bunched up between the Nano heat sink and the top of the SBC case.

> 3 dayThese are the best fans ever. Very quiet, easy to spin, move a lot of air and made of quality materials. They are a little on the expensive side, but thats because quality is more expensive.

> 3 dayQuiet as expected.

> 3 dayTitle says it, this fan does a great job at cooling a raspberry pi 4. With a little modification to the case

> 3 dayJust to be safe since my ASUS Prime Z390 a mother board was air-cooled, added this fan since the motherboard supported a 40 or 50 mm fan for cooling the heatsink on M2 SSD. Also attached temp sensor to M2 heatsink, Asus software controls fan speed automatic, great solution.

> 3 dayyes they look pretty funky with the colors but they do such a great job of pushing air and cooling the intended product.

Greater than one weekInstalled this fan on to a nVidia Jetson Nano and fit perfectly. I did get a case for the Jetson Nano that provided the appropriate screws that properly mounted the fan with though. This fan kit doesnt come with those as the parts that come with the fan are more used for mounting to a something like a computer case.

Greater than one weekI am really impressed with the amount of additional cables, connectors, and mounting options provided. I ordered the fan to place inside of a fursuit (costume) head. It is very quiet, if even one person is talking you cannot hear it running. The air flow is low, but it is constant and hands free so that is very nice. I thought it might be much louder than it was which is why I ordered the PWM version. Since it is *so* quiet theres no reason to not let it spin at full speed unless your application is severely power limited.

> 3 dayUnless Im running something intense, the PWM fan is usually off. Then when the Jetson Nano gets warm the fan turns on just enough to cool it. I never notice this fan - I have to look at the blades to see if its spinning because its so quiet. The default fan I replaced came with a third party acrylic Jetson Nano case, it was not PWM, always running full speed and a noisy little fan at that. Ive seen other comments on the default fan saying its not very loud. I suspect the low quality, default case fan varies in noise from unit to unit. If you want quiet - Get the Noctua PWM! I got the thick one, so I had to find some longer screws. I should have gotten the thin one which I expect would work fine and use the existing HW. At any rate, if quiet and sanity are worth a couple coffees to you, get the Noctua PWM fan, such an improvement over the default fan that came with the third party Jetson Nano case.
