Noctua NF-A8 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (80mm, Black)

I bought a refurbished HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF to create a router (OPNSense). Everything went great, except that the CPU fan was audible. It wasnt loud, but I wanted to silence it. There are few brands, but nonetheless Noctua is THE best. Now my new router is silent, its CPU temp went down from 42C to 33C with IPS + ZenArmor + Unbound DNS DNSBL all enabled.

Good fans, as most already know. The Black is a needed improvement :)

Moves a lot of air and quiet. Cost more than other fans of same size

I used this fan inside a Dell OptiPlex 7050 SFF where I put in a GTX 1650 and the GPU would always thermal throttle. Because of that, I saw there was a place to mount an extra fan so I put it in front of the case and now it doesnt overheat when the side panel is on.

Queria reemplazar el ventilador de mi cooler y a primera vista era 100 veces mas silencioso PERO solo al 40% es completamente inaudible para mi, mas que eso se escucha por lo que es inservible para mi cpu que debe de estar con underclock y undervolt debido a esto, no le veo otro uso asi que lo devolvere y comprare un cooler noctua de 2 ventiladores para que trabaje menos.

They have some of the best customer service Ive seen in hardware. They arent always fast, but they are effective. Theyll answer fiddly little technical questions, and quickly work to resolve issues. If I need a fan or heatsink I always turn to noctua first.
