> 3 dayThese fans are very well made. They are extremely quiet and durable. I installed them into my 4U server that contains 24 hard drive bays. After switching the fans that came with the case for these the was no more hum. Just extreme quietness. I would recommend these fans to anyone looking for a great quality made fan.

14-04-2025Purchased this fan to replace a noisy stock fan. I was very impressed by the results. The fan is completely inaudible over other case noises, and judging by my temperatures, is still moving a substantial amount of air over the components. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a Quiet fan with a capital Q.

> 3 dayQuiet and powerful. The rubber attachment things are cool but hard to use in tight spaces. Even with the screws, the fan does not vibrate because of the rubber around the screw holes. I really like Noctua fans

> 3 dayI replaced both my CPU fan with an 80mm and my case fan with a 92mm version of the Noctua fans. The are very quiet and seem well made. Box included 3 additional cables, screws and rubber mounts in case I needed to use them... Didnt need for my install, but nice touch! Very happy and recommend them!

> 3 dayI replaced a cpu fan in Thinkcentre M93p. It works, but fails POST, as lenovos motherboard does not support zero rpm mode that this fan has, giving the two beeps and cpu fan error. Or something else might be the issue, but that is why I took down one star. Other than that, it is a great fan, silent, and with good airflow.

The NF-A8 is a highly optimised, premium quality quiet 80mm fan. Featuring Noctua’s AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame as well as sophisticated aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A8 further improves the renowned quiet cooling performance of the award-winning NF-R8. Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
