> 24 hourI bought a set of these to put into my Thermaltake Core V1 build. They are extremely quiet fans. The only thing that I honestly dont like about them is the look. That brown color really isnt that good to look at. I probably will end up swapping them out for some Chromax one, once they make them or I might go to a different brand all together. The fans themselves are great, just the overall look, not the greatest.

> 24 hourI have a 50 watt grow light in my living room and the original fan was too loud. I searched quite fans and found this. I didnt realize how loud the 1st fan was until I got this and could compare thsm. It has 2 speed settings and both of them are ridiculously quiet. Considering how cheap they are you cant go wrong. I dont think its just the rubber mounting attachments that are on the fan, but the fan itself is just really quiet. I am using 2 of them for LEDS and neither one is housed in any enclosure that would dampen the sound. They are both open, visible and super quiet. Highly recommended!

> 24 hourIf you are into fancy boxes and flashy marketing then buy this. This is just got a little bit more flare with the rubber attachments and louder than the NF-R8 (NF-R8 rated at 17.1). If you stick the adapter (but why bother? ) you can get the sound down a little bit more for the price.

> 24 hourThe fans are perfect for small rack mount servers.

> 24 hourAnother +1 review to the 5 star camp. IMHO Noctua fans are first class products, this one included.

> 24 hourA bit more expensive than most fans of the same size, but they are rather quiet and will move air effectively. I have a pair in the back of a rack-mount computer case and it does the job well, quietly.

> 24 hourThe fan definitely accomplishes the job for my Syber Vapor E-Gaming PC, although the screws it came with were completely useless and I had to use the heatsink that was already presently in my fan that I was replacing. In fact, that was the most challenging issue as I had to use my own screws which didnt look pretty and resulted in having to break the edges of my previous fan just to use those screws, but got the job done.

> 24 hourrigged this to an old GTS 290 whose fan died. used somewhat heavy duty thread to tie it to the heatsink. It was easy to remove the plastic protector from the fan plug on the board and plug this one in. works well and I have better temps that before (basic daily usage), even after cleaning while still using the old fan.
