Noctua NF-F12 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Black)

Im so glad Noctua put out some fans that arent the ugly brown color scheme. As other people have said, the fans only come with 4 of each color, so if youre looking to have the same color pads on both sides of the fans youll need to buy some extra. For my build, I just used the black pads on the side that goes against the case and the colored ones (white) on the inside for looks.

Looks good. But not as expected, it is pretty loud fan, it didn’t come with mounting screws.

Replaced the stock fan on my closed loop Corsair water cooler, cpu is 10-20 celsius cooler under load. Fan is near silent compared to stock cooler fan, and (excepting gpu fans) is the only fan for my case. PWM was a smarter option than other 3 pin DC fans. Im sold on this company and their superior cooling solutions.

Put this guy as an intake for a new computer build. Quiet......no.....Silent.....yes.....cant even hear it running with two other Noctua fans. 1 120mm, 2 92mm fans.......I cant hear the computer is even on......awesome.

This things are only audible at max speed, the rest of the time they are ultra quiet and effective. I plan on buying more. Also, they can throttle down to 0, which with some hardware, such as GPUs, can be very helpful as the card simply isnt under enough of a load for many tasks to wind up the fan, and if you have a very cool case, fans like this one need only spin at 100-300 rpm, which is essentially TOTALLY silent. Its a true delight to work around the machine - you can forget the computer is even on.

The fan is decent, quiet and looks good with my NH-D15, I used it to lower the height and not losing the air flow to the heatsink, I got disappointed with anti-vibration pads, I got only 4 from each color instead of 8, unlike the NF-A15 that come with 8 for each color! so I still feel something missing :(

Would be hands down five stars if just eating the fan but we all know Noctua fans are excellent.

I had to double check if it was on when I couldn’t hear anything. Super silent! I’m planning on replacing all fans with Noctua in the future

Wires were humorously short. What is noctua doing. It works fine for a fan. Though the cable is short af. Make sure to spend extra money on another cable extension. Especially if you have a big case.
