> 24 hourBought this to add a redundant second fan to a Noctua CPU cooler. With one of these fans on the cooler it was pretty much inaudible in action doing BluRay transcoding across all threads on the i7 CPU. A pretty hard workout. With this second fan fitted the speeds dropped automatically and they were now totally inaudible. I can thoroughly recommend this fan, and the matching Noctua cooler.

> 24 hourThese are static pressure optimized fans, meaning they are meant to be put up against radiators are will be louder than the low RPM fans optimized for airflow only. In my experience, these are the loudest Noctua fans Ive used but they are quieter than any non-Noctua 120mm fan of comparable RPM by a comfortable margin.

> 24 hourI got this to replace the fan on an old Haswell generation Hyper style tower cooler. It is very quiet. If you are doing a similar project you will want to remove the rubber corner pieces to get a flat surface before mounting the fan clips or you might break your clips when you tighten the screws like I did. Luckily I had spare mounting clips.
