> 3 dayFantastic fan. Whisper quiet under normal conditions and hardly noticeable even when spinning at full. Beautiful packaging, extras included are great. Even at low speeds it pulled far more far than the stock fan that came with my case. Definitely worth the extra money to buy them.

10-06-2025No complaints. Install was easy. The fan is very quite. I have it set up to pull air through my Rad. It would probably work better pushing air, but its not given me any issues. Its quite and my CPU temps are consistently below 45 deg C. (I5 2500K processor not overclocked in a P280 case with all 7 fans installed)

> 3 dayI purchased this fan for my computer case. I used to have 3 Coolermaster Sickle flow 120, which famous for its cheap price. 2 of those work pretty well and are quiet on top of the case for exhale, but 1 on the side panel for inhale caused really weird and loud noise.

The NF-S12A marks the third generation of Noctua’s signature S12 series quiet case fans, which have received more than 250 awards and recommendations from the international press. Featuring a further refined blade design with Anti-Stall Knobs that works in tandem with the new AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame, the NF-S12A improves the airflow/noise efficiency of its renowned predecessor by up to 8%. The PWM version sports Noctua’s custom designed NE-FD1 IC for fully automatic speed control via 4-pin fan headers and comes with a Low-Noise-Adaptor to reduce the maximum speed during PWM control from 1200 to 900rpm. Anti-Stall Knobs
The NF-S12A"s Anti-Stall Knobs reduce flow separation phenomena in medium to high impedance situations and thereby increase the fan"s stall margin. This means that the NF-S12A is even more versatile than its renowned predecessor and can achieve better performance on heatsinks and radiators.
