Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black)

I chose this air cooling over water AIO, and have no regrets. There is not much fan noise even with overclocking, and the cpu stays cool enough. Sure, you may get 1-4 degrees cooler with maximum speed on the AIO but at the expense loud fan noise. But fan noise is not too much of the issue. I had 2 different AIO $159 to $200 systems fail on me after 8mos and the other after 1yr. Then I replaced them with air cool towers like this one and it has been 10 years without fail. This Noctua D15 dual fan air system looks well built and impressive, much more than my other air cool towers. Built 2 new computer system with the new Intel 12th generation i7 12700k 32gb ddr5 LGA 1700 and the other with i5 12600k 32gb ddr5 LGA 1700, and waiting on the rtx3080 or rtx 40series to be available due to short supply, I do not want my cpu to fail when those AIO water cool fails unsuspectingly. You definitely need to watch for clearance with needing a case with more than 165mm cpu to case clearance, and lower height memory ram, else you could use only one fan. Or modify for the second fan to fit away from the tower to clear the memory RAM. My case has 180mm and the other 190mm cleareance. I bought both the chromax black and white brown version and both fit well. Easy installation and has the LGA 1700 brackets included, but they only include just enough thermal paste for one install, so make sure you have the orientation that you want, or have extra Thermal paste if you want to reset. No regrets with the Noctua d15 dual fan install. I am returning the Lian Li AIO 360 that I had bought at the same time to install but decided against AIO water due to my past experience that almost ruined my cpu/mb because of pump failure.

Decided to Build a new Z690 - DDR5, 12gen Build and this Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black cooler keeps my 12700K CPU at a nice 27c at Idle and while Gaming Horizon Zero Dawn on Ultimate Quality setting, this Noctua Cooler keeps my 12700K at around 52c (winter UK)...yet to see what summer temps are n will update in july....of course i have another 4 x Noctua fans installed in this Corsair 7000D Airflow Case which helps deliver plenty of cool air to the NH-D15 chromax Black.

Ventirad a même envoyé tel quun colis avec sa boite dorigine. Pas de carton ou quoi que ce soit ... de plus, bonne trace dimpact sur le carton mais aucun dégât constaté à louverture. Le pire cest quil ny avait aucun scotch ou fermeture de garantie... nimporte qui aurait pu se servir. Livraison prime donc rapide mais rapidité ne veut pas dire bâclé. Le produit en soit est installé et fonctionne parfaitement malgré les remarques ci-dessus. Très déçu de lenvoi ! Je met deux étoiles car le produit en lui-même est super. Rien à redire, meilleur ventirad sur le marché

Make sure you have a case big enough to fit this.

Its huge, so if you dont have much room in your case it could be a little difficult to install. Other than that, its awesome! The installation instructions are easy and it does a great job at cooling. Normal use with an AMD 3700X has temps around 32C-35C with fans at about 650RPM. 45C-48C with heavy use and fans at about 850 RPM. Minimal noise, practically silent compared to AMDs stock cooler.

Best rated air cooler in terms of thermals. But because of its size, comes with many caveats. Once installed, you lose access to ram as cooler fan will cover it. Also once installed its next to the gpu. No space inbetween

Che dire? E come mettere un palazzo a due piani dentro il pc - e funziona benissimo. Ancorché mastodontica funziona una meraviglia. viene con tutti i pezzi per il montaggio per una serie molto ampia di CPU (guardare lelenco sul sito, molto ordinato, ben fatto ed esauriente). Possibilità di montarla con una sola ventola (quella centrale ovviamente) invece che con due (entrambe incluse), in caso di possibili conflitti di spazio con le RAM (nessun problema se si montano quelle a basso profilo). Se il vostro case ha spazio garantito per utilizzo di unità di raffreddamento fino a 165 mm compratela senza problemi, nessun possibile svantaggio. Se trasportate il pc, prima smontatela per non far subire alla MB stress meccanici che potrebbero danneggiare la MB stessa. Uomo avvisato...

Es el mejor para disipar calor en forma de torre, pero siempre se tiene que ajustar el segundo ventilador ya que la RAM interfiere pero gracias a que se puede ajustar la altura no hay problema.

This really is the best air cooler out there! Unfortunately the first one i received seem to have already been opened as some packaging stuff was open, foam padding was missing, and even the thermal paste was missing! I just ordered another one and it came perfect with everything. I will be returning my first order but i seen that some other review had the same issue. Maybe Amazon or Noctua needs to actually check the box when they receive a return rather than just putting it back on the shelf. But other than that, the cooler is great!
