Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black)

Works brilliantly, Performs perfectly, Looks stunning. Noctuas mounting design is so simple. Package includes a simple screw driver and thermal grease makes installation easy and next to impossible to forget anything youll need. Being in Southern California, my 9900k idles at 32c but under load is sits at a cozy 60c. Even under sustained load (30 minutes) this cooler is silent. Only thing to watch out for is the height. My CoolerMaster H500 only squeaks by (with the front fan sitting right on top of my Corsair Vengeance Low Profile memory) with it nearly touching the glass. Adding onto that, when the front fan is installed it will mostly cover up any flashy RGB memory, and any memory modules with taller than average heat-sinks will make fitting that front fan difficult unless you have a case deeper than the CM H500. Although with a cooler this well performing, silent, and elegant looking, I really cant blame it for the size.

By far the superior air cpu cooler. Worrying about cpu temps is no longer a worry for my son when gaming for hours.

E perfetto sotto ogni punto di vista la vernice non presenta una sola sbavatura anche le saldature sono impeccabili.Grazie alle sue 2 ventola da 140 riesce a mantenere sotto controllo gli overclock più estremi senza infastidire lorecchio con i classici ronzii.Credo che difficilmente si potrà superare questo modello della Noctua è nato perfetto diventerà un punto di riferimento per ogni appassionato .

Das ist mittlerweile schon der zweite Noctua NH-D15 den ich gekauft habe. Zwischendurch habe ich auch mal eine AIO Wasserkühlung probiert und andere Lüfter. Ich habe mir dann wieder den Noctua NH-D15 geholt. Der Lüfter liefert eine ordentliche Leistung ab und ist sehr leise.

I read up a lot on CPU coolers when I bought my 9700k and I’m so happy I found out about Noctua and went with this buy. Obviously the chromax series is a nice upgrade for the looks because I was not a fan of their standers brown and tan coolers. The cooler is extremely quiet, and keeps my cpu icy cold for over clocking. It is definitely a bulky piece of equipment and won’t fit all motherboards but You can rotate into 4 different positions and the fans can go in different positions as well to hopefully fit most PC’s. If you have a mid size tower this cooler probably won’t fit. I have a gigabyte z390 aorus pro and it barely fit over the heat sinks on the mobo but man I was really happy that it did fit. If you have a tall large tower with a mobo that has multiple pci e slots (I had to drop my 1080ti down a slot to make room for the Noctua chromax) I would definitely recommend this for a CPU cooler.

I was expecting a drop in temperature on my AMD Ryzen 5 3600 after replacing the stock cooler with the Noctua NH-D15. But not as much. At full load with the stock cooler it was 90°C, with NH-D15 48°C. WOW thats 42°C drop in temp. without changing anything else. The funny thing is that its so huge and so close to the graphics card that it takes some heat from it and keeps it cooler by about 4°C. And its really silent. GOOD JOB NOCTUA.

This cooler keeps my i7 9700K temps low even under high load. Doesn’t make absurd noise and was easy to install. Perfect score imo.

Looking at updating your gaming rig?. I had an old i5 4670K that was barely keeping up with modern games and was looking at buying a new Ryzen 5600x whenever one would be in stock at MSRP.

I was using the original fan that came with the ryzen 5 3600, but for my ryzen 7 5800X and I thought my case was just naturally loud because I have the torrent fractal, but once I swapped to this cooler everything got dead silent and my cpu is cool all the time now
