super easy set up and great for a small form factor build

super easy to install, super quiet cooling. I used it on a 3400g in a tiny pc and it did a fantastic job cooling that chip. Having tried a lot of Noctuas and other coolers over the years, you really cant ever go wrong buying a Noctua.

I bought this cooler to replace my AIO that was in my SFF build. It is quiet but I do think my CPU runs a bit hotter now, but not a lot. I bought it to match the rest of my noctua fans. I recommend this fan to anyone with a low profile build.

This is not quiet by any means. Yes its silent at 20%, but at 40-50% its already very loud, and at full speed.. lets say its worse. In addition, its very hard to install, because the cooler and the backplate have to be kept together when you put the screws, which go from the bottom up. You cant install one first and then the other. So I ended up making a sandwich with the cooler upside down, then the motherboard on top of it (fortunately its a mini itx), then the backplate, and with luck I got the screws in. Cooling is pretty bad too, at 50% fan speed and full load for a 65W cpu I have 70-71C, which is far more than I ever had with air cooling, but sure, its well within range of operating temperature.

I got this mounted and started benchmarking but exchanged it for a low profile AIO.

Replaced the stock AMD cooler with this and it is noticeably quieter. Fits well on mini-itx board as well

Only con was the mounting. Trying to sandwich the backplate to the cooler for an even application to the cpu was the biggest pain, but not overly frustrating. Temps are good, not groundbreaking, but acceptable for a low profile cooler. Adjust the curve in your bios to an acceptable noise level and keep it there. Overall I’m very happy.

Lowered my temperatures right away, from 42 idle on stock cooler to 36C on my Ryzen 5 5600G and while gaming my temps went down from 86C to 69C, it would be even lower if I hadn’t decided to keep the build in a tight space.

Little to no noise level, but hard to mount onto your motherboard.

Great product, it knocked my CPU temperature down 20 degrees C vs. my stock ryzen wraith. I only took a star off because it is very difficult to install without removing your motherboard. For a new build it would be easy but if you are upgrading it will be a challenge. Also there are no extra screws so if one rolls off somewhere you might be in for trouble.
