Noctua NH-U12A, Premium CPU Cooler with High-Performance Quiet NF-A12x25 PWM Fans (120mm, Brown)

I got this Noctua cpu cooler to replace a single fan AIO. The single fan AIO cooler on an ITX build has the temperatures around 55-60 degrees on idle. After hearing a lot of good things about Noctua coolers, I decided to get this. Installation is easy compared to AIOs. I love that the fans are tooless for maintenance cleaning and installation. I have less cable to deal with because there is no RGB light on this, but my case have enough lights to showcase whats inside. Using the Noctua thermal paste, I was able to lower the temperatures to 38-45 degrees on idle. Thats a good temperature on an ITX build on a hot summer day. When playing video games, the cpu temps shoot up to 70 degrees average, and up to 75 on a really hot day. Im curently using Ryzen 9 3900X, which runs hotter than my previous Ryzen 7 2700X.

absoluter Spitzenkühler mit allem dabei was man braucht. Er ist zwar teuer aber diese Leistung für die Größe kann kein anderer. Kühlt meinen Ryzen 9500x absolut zuverlässig ohne das ich so einen riesigen schweren Trümmer einbauen musste. Ich mag einfach die Optik von Luftkühlern.

Ordered this to replace a 4 year old 120mm water cooler that was no longer quiet - seems it had suffered some loss of liquid over time and was not working well any longer. This unit had great ratings and was supposedly very quiet, so I gave it a shot. Im really glad I did - its basically silent and has kept my CPU cooler than the water cooler ever did. Fit great in my case, didnt touch my corsair memory at all, installation was fairly easy - just had to remember to gently pull on the metal brackets to refit those fans once I was finished mounting the main unit. Id buy this again and will look at using the larger size in my next build with a new CPU soon - not sure they are rated for those newer power hungry potentially hot chips but I sure hope so, this is a very nicely made cooler.
