Noctua NH-U12A, Premium CPU Cooler with High-Performance Quiet NF-A12x25 PWM Fans (120mm, Brown)

Im here to answer the age old question, will this cooler work for a Rosewill 4u server chassis? The answer is yes (in my case, pun intended). Im blown away that you can fit this much cooling in a 4U chassis. A 5950x is easily tamed by this cooler. Keep in mind theres probably a mm of space between the cooler and lid however, fits my needs perfectly.

I did a lot of research before getting this; my trusty Corsair liquid-cooling system finally dies after 8 years of faithful service, so I needed a CPO cooler ASAP. After watching several YouTube reviews, I decided on the premium 120mm Noctua - and it DELIVERS! I had no idea of how noisy (by comparison) the Corsair was...installation took about 15 minutes (with me taking my time, after removal of the failed Corsair unit) and works like a charm. Virtually silent even in Turbo mode and CPU rarely gets above 37 deg. C. All this AND a 6-year Warranty as well! FANTASTIC!

Its Noctua, so pretty much one of the best air coolers you can get.

Got this to replace a broken Kraken M22 AIO. Its somehow both quieter than and more efficient than my old AIO. These fans are silent, even without the included low noise adapters, and Ive never seen my CPU (Ryzen 5 5600x) temperature go above 60°C even while playing resource intensive games.

Excellent product but I had some troubles while installing the new cooler. The grey spacers that were provided for my AM4 socket didnt fit my system because the heatsink wouldnt reach the mounting bracket no matter how much pressure I applied. So I used the white [AM2(+)/AM3(+)/FM1/FM2] spacers which are slightly taller than the grey ones and the heatsink screwed in properly. I was able to tighten the screws all the way in and the heatsink doesnt move at all.

So quiet at idle. Even while gaming. I havent seen my CPU above 60 yet. Only complaint I have is getting the screw to thread when installing the cooler to the bracket. One was easy then the other was a pain. This could be might fault though being a beginner to building.
