Noctua NH-U12S chromax.Black, 120mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)

This installed easily and looks good inside my case. I have played Payday 2 for a couple of hours and I have yet to see temps over 60C. It is overkill for online classes and basic office tasks, but Linus sold me on it and I just had to try it.

All parts are metal: no situation when one metal part breaks plastic part, very solid, it was joy to instal. Using with LGA 1700.

Where do I start with this cooler? I bought the NH-U12S CHROMAX. The unboxing was quite unique. Everything had a place the packing was very neat. They give you accessories in case you purchase a 2nd fan for a push pull. Also comes with a 7.5mg tube of their NT-H1 paste, which Ive used since they brought it out.

Screws with springs attached were really hard to tighten because of the thread quality. I had to apply a lot of pressure on the mother board

La version chromax est superbe dun point de vue esthétique, et lefficacité est également au RDV : je constate 20 à 30° de différence avec le ventirad stock dAMD (Stealth).

I installed this on a MSI MPG Gaming Edge Wifi B550 with a 5600x inside a Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact and I have never once heard the pc fans actually spin up even under heavy load gaming (Max Settings at 3440x1440 144hz)

Este disipador es una bestia en tamaño contenido. No es muy alto y entra en la mayoría de cajas y no ocupa espacio de los bancos de memoria.

If youre familiar with Noctuas reputation, none of this will surprise you, but the U12S in another excellent cooler. Slightly pricier than others, but well worth the price for its performance and noise level. Significantly quieter than my old Corsair H100i with nearly comparable cooling performance.

I like the all black, I like the name brand as a quality product the smaller version I have has yet to be tested, but it comes with all the features one would want.
