Greater than one weekWhen our older PC, now in use as an Emby platform, began randomly shutting down, it became apparent that the now 10-year-old system was going to need the CPUs thermal compound replaced. Over time, most thermal compounds begin to dry out and otherwise degrade. Our much newer PCs both use Noctuas earlier NT-H1 compound supplied with Noctua coolers, which has performed very well in cooling a couple of AMD Ryzen CPUs (one of which is a 5950X). I dont expect the new, NT-H2 version to be any less effective.

03-04-2025This thermal paste is great for cpus WITH an ihs however if you use this on bare die (PS4/5,XBOX,GPU,Delidded CPU) dont expect it to do good or last. Noctuas NTH1 and NTH2 have the same problem where if its applied on bare die it will do something known as thermal paste pump-out. short explanation is that the thermal paste will not stay on the die and will spread out or in my case evaporate??.. when your component starts getting hot. Usually pump-out takes a few days to weeks to even months to occur however it happens to me right after I apply the thermal paste and use it. I dont have any photos but google Thermal paste pump-out for more information. I am now using Arctic Silver 5 which for now is doing fine and it applies very easy too.

> 3 dayHay marcas igual de buenas o incluso mejores (en teoría), pero los resultados que me ha dado la pasta térmica en todos mis montajes es fiable y bueno, que no veo necesidad de probar otras. Recomendable.

Greater than one weekWärmeleitfähigkeit ist eben nicht alles, die Paste muss auch die richtige Viskosität und Verbindung mit der Wärmeleitfähigkeit haben. Was nützen einem utopische 16 ~ 17 W/mK wie bei Alphacool oder Phobya, wenn die Paste mir nach 2 Jahren aushärtet oder sie nicht so gut die feinen Unebenheiten der Oberflächen ausfüllen kann.

Easy to apply
