The beautiful desk mat allowed me to steam line my desk as the desk pad also functions as a mouse pad and the material allows the skin of my resting forearm to breath. My arm no longer sticks to my desk pad. The pad is light pink. It will take maintenance and carefulness to not muck it up with smudges or stains. But that was my choice in ordering a light pink desk pad.
