This desk mat works great for covering all the scratches, gouges, and marks on a well used desktop surface. It rolled out easily without curled edges. It grips the desk without slipping, but not so tough I cant adjust the mat to the edge of the desk and under my computer and monitor without having to remove everything. My mouse woks fine without having a separate mouse pad. The pad is firm enough that I can put paper right on the desk mat to write. This was a great inexpensive solution to refreshing my desktop.
