> 24 hourThis is the perfect solution to a rug that doesnt stay in place. I have not yet affixed it to under the rug, but since it doesnt move around once under the rug, all is well. It will definitely prevent a slipping injury! I cut the backing to size (a little smaller than the rug), which was easy to do, and place the rug on top. Voila! Solved! It is very lightweight but grips hardwood floors nicely.

> 24 hourI’m using this as a backing to a canvas floor cloth. I glued it to the fabric without problem, and will seal the whole thing with a few coats of polyurethane. This backing adds a bit of padding to the floorcloth making it easier to stand on for long periods, and offers protection to the wood floor where it will be placed.

> 24 hourI like to have a nice cloth rug or cover for the tent floor, but regular cloth slips and rugs are hard to clean. The sticky back on this fabric works great. The grey can be stamped with your favorite fabric paint and stamp, to make it fun, as long as you like the grey background. Im going to stamp mine when the weather gets a little better. This would also make a good bottom layer for chair cushions.

> 24 hourThis has a nice weight to it. The non-skid surface is definitely a plus when you need to put backing on a rug. The web adhesive spray didnt bleed through the felt when applied.

> 24 hourThis mat works great to prevent slipping. I ordered this to use as a backing for a cloth rug. Its not too thick so it doesnt make the rug bulky, and it gives the needed grip to the rug to keep it from sliding around. My elderly dog is very happy now that she can walk without sliding, and Im happy now that I dont have do deal with rugs that wonder around the room. The only issue with it was that it was a little difficult to sew to the rug, because it didnt slide through the sewing machine too well. Which should be an obvious issue, since it doesnt slide on the floor. If it slides easily across the machine it will slide easily across the floor too. Just a heads up that it may not be the easiest material to work with, but that just means it does what its supposed to do (not slide).

> 24 hourThis backing cloth is perfect for rug making. It’s a nice length so it’ll probably last a while depending on the size of the rugs you’re making.

> 24 hourI use this to fit a runner rug that kept crawling away causing me to adjust it over and over again.... I cut it to fit the back of the rug, and I actually glued it to the back of the rug with fabric glue, although that isnt necessary - it just made sense to me to do this so I could easily take the rug outside to shake it out, and not have to worry about lining it up perfectly again when I brought it back in. The non-slip works great on a tile floor, or a wood floor. I tried it on carpet, and it did slow the crawl down a lot, but the rug would still move just a bit. So I recommend it on tile, wood, or vinyl floor more than carpet, although it is still an improvement on carpet. Good stuff!
