> 3 dayThis umbrella is absolutely adorable! The details are so cute, like the ice-cream cone handle and the whistle attached to the handle, i love it! I initially got this for my 4 year old daughter. I thought because of the childish design that it would be a kid sized umbrella. But to my surprise, it was a lot bigger than I expected. I’d say it’s a typical/adult sized umbrella. I’m fine with that because I needed one for myself and my kids anyways. But if you were wanting a smaller one for your kids, just keep in mind that this one would probably be a little too large for a young child. It’s very easy to open and close which is definitely a plus. Overall, I’m very happy with this umbrella and would definitely recommend it!

> 3 dayThe distinguishing feature for my use is the protective shell that telescopes up to shield it and keep it bundled and then collapses to act as a collector for water run-off after use. Even has a drain cap. Its brilliant. I am retired and drive a school bus . When dropping off and it is raining, there is always some kid with no umbrella and a wet hike ahead of them. I have carried the ones that have the telescoping shafts that spring out and then open abruptly. Great for adults, in my experience handing a 1st grader one of those is like handing him a grenade. The also dont age well on a school bus in a handy place. So this is perfect. I can keep it by the door (I removed the whistle) so it is handy, it is a bit shielded from the occasional bump, and isnt a boob-trap when opened. When they get home, parent can close it and stick it in a corner with the collapsed shield collecting the run-off. And return it the next day (they always come back). I need at least one more (I only needed three loaners once).

Greater than one weekThis umbrella was very interesting for me because of the built-in cover to avoid the dripping. It also has a lot of fun extra features that makes it more fun for kids such as the ice cream cone handle, whistle and the fun print options. Even though the dimensions were given, I was still a little surprised on how long it was but in a good way so that I know that this will be large enough for older kids like 8-10. I got this for my son thats almost 4 years old since hes always wanting to hold his own umbrella but struggles with the smaller adult ones, Im hoping this will be easier for him. There are also protective tips on all the wires and I love that there are two layers of fabric for UV protection. The only small thing that I found that was a negative was that there was some unfinished plastic on the ice cream handle but thats easily fixed with a little soft filing. I would highly recommend this umbrella to others especially for the price.

> 3 dayI was expecting an all kid-friendly umbrella but it this clearly meant for older kids. Its larger than most kid umbrellas and is hard to close, even for adults. The plastic cover is a good idea but you have to be able to get the velcro done up for the plastic to slide down. It was a bit too much for the littler kids. If you have an older elementary aged kids, this would be great for them. If you have a younger kid (under 3rd grade) this is going to be a bit too much. Construction is great and the inside is really solid (see picture).

> 3 dayThis is a really neat umbrella for kids. It includes alot of features that make it out of the ordinary. The vehicle print, colors and icecream handle are definitely enjoyed by my 4 year old son, who wanted an umbrella of his own. The umbrella itself is quite sturdy and a bit bigger than an adult travel umbrella. It is relatively easy to open with the button and the plastic sheath for storing/draining the rain water is also a really great feature. The added bonus of the under side of the umbrella being darker to protect against sunny day UVs makes this a versatile accessory. I do recommend adult supervision with this umbrella. For instance, using the velcro strap to secure the umbrella Before sliding down the plastic sheath is advisable. Also, once you remove the screw on draining cap, the plastic sheath can be fully removed from the umbrella. These precautions, along with whatever age your child might be and the negligence or damage they might invoke to an otherwise sturdy umbrella, are just my recommendations based on personal experience. For the price, quality and all the unique features (including a plastic whistle) that your youngster is sure to love, this is definitely an umbrella I would highly recommend.

> 3 dayThis adorable umbrella is sturdy enough for a toddler to use but big enough to be suitable for a school aged child. There are lots of cute colorful designs on it and fun details in the way its made. My 2 year old grandson loves it and feels like a big kid with his very own umbrella!
