> 24 hourI got this case for better shelding and I thought it was compatable

> 24 hourGood tolerances, high quality project box for the hackrf one.

> 24 hourFits the HackRF itself nicely, however I had to file out the holes for the SMA connectors. My HackRF had connectors with square bases so they would not fit the round holes in the endcaps.

> 24 hourI added the TXCO, shield kit and metal case to my HackRF One. Well worth the expense. I would suggest that if you have the original plastic case, this is a recommended upgrade.

> 24 hourThe only trouble I had was that threading in the screws for the first time is what makes the threads in the aluminum body, so you have to crank on them pretty hard. I stripped out the head on one of the screws but the kit actually comes with a couple extra screws, probably for this reason. Other than that everything fit perfectly, feels sturdy and looks great.

> 24 hourDidnt fit perfectly but with some filing down it was fixable. Probably I just had a slightly longer board then normal

> 24 hourFirst off, the case is solid as heck and very lightweight. It didnt fit the first HackRF board I put in but, luckily, I have two. Both of my boards are unofficial builds but from different sources so, if you have a non-Great-Scott board, you will be rolling the dice. Not taking a point off for that because, no matter how well the case is built, they cant possibly fit every variation outside of the official boards!

> 24 hourOriginally decided to purchase the standard HackRF One but soon after bought the aluminum case after realizing how fragile my HRF1 truly was. No instructions are included but installation is fairly straightforward. A small(ish) screwdriver is required to install the case. Included are pictures of the upgraded radio and a side by side of the newly installed case and the original plastic molding. Provides adequate protection in a sleek form factor!

> 24 hourThe case fits well. Im not sure it has done much to lower the RF noise floor as I thought it might. But it has made my HackRF more rugged than it was before. It might be nice to see one of these cases with a screw in USB cable port to help protect the fragile mini-usb ports. These are seen on higher end SDR cases like those for signal hound.
