> 3 dayUnknown residue all over it, Im uncertain if I should take this home where my two little girls live. My perspective is of someone who used to draw all the time, then went stopped when I got in college ten years ago. So, therefore Im no professional or anything like that, but I do know a little bit. Update: returned the other received another and there was none of the stuff on it. Now moving onto the actual product. The paper is very course, which is great for getting the lead (graphite) off the pencil. In that same regards it makes it hard to erase and make clean drawings with. It also make it pretty difficult to make light markings. The paper is not smug resistant though, as stated in the sketch pad. The pencils are nice, long, and basic; each of the twelve would have a use for different reasons, which is good and not so good. Good because you can refine your work, not so good because down the line you will not have them all, weather misplaced or used up. Ill try to update this when Ive used all the other items in this set, but Im pretty hopeful with what I have gotten.

> 3 dayContains almost everythihng needed to get started with drawing. All the charcoal and graphite products work great, specially given the price. The sketchbook has quiality paper, maybe a little too thin but thats a nitpick. The only real complaint is that the kneaded eraser is not very good. Its not soft and it has a hard time removing charcoal from the paper. Still, the overall kit is fantastic if you are just starting out. Great as a gift to someone who wants to get into drawing

> 3 dayIn a funny turn of events, I ordered myself a sketch kit at the same time my husband ordered one for me. So I ended up with a cheap Chinese version (which I purchased) and a premium brand name version (which my husband ordered for me.) In a side by side, the Norberg & Linden was obvious higher quality. They were practically identical, but every piece of the Norberg & Linden set was a little bit better, especially the paper. The K Kwokker brand was more like dollar store paper, and I can tell that it would rip pretty easy in use. The Norberg & Linden sketchbook was bigger, heavier, and had more pages. Ultimately, I chose that the BETTER set was from Norberg & Linden because I feel that a sketchpad of equal quality would cost more than the price difference between the two sets. I guess you get what you pay for. Also, the Norberg & Linden set came with this nice box which I can use to store the sketchbooks and the other came in plastic film wrap. Even my cat Sparkle helped me with my decision and 100% of the time he tried to sharpen his claws on the Norberg & Linden instead of the other one which is a weird flex but okay

> 3 dayWhen my daughter opened the box she discovered the fabric case covered in mold. We returned it without opening the case but can only assume that contents were also covered in mold. Do not order.
