This year we went with the classic look, I was the only one with red and clear lights, my home is 6 houses from the intersection. People turn into my street to see the lights. They bring a nostalgia for older people who grew up with this type of lights.

These are great bulbs. Ever since the pandemic hit, Ive been changing out the colors on my front porch light string to make people feel happy when they go past the house. When this mess first started I put up red, white, and blue for America, and our first responders. Those colors stayed up through the 4th of July, until Halloween, when I switched to orange and white bulbs. Then red, white, and green for Christmas. I just ordered purple, so I can switch to purple, red and white for Valentines day. They are great quality. They are also packed really well, so when Im ready to swap a color, they just go back in their box for safe keeping until I use them again. Im so excited to put the purple up, I dont think I have ever seen purple ceramic bulbs...its gonna be so cool! These are hard to find at a local store. They are perfect.

They look purple unlit. The color was supposed to be purple when lit, they are pink! I was very disappointed!

Not what I expected, but that was my mistake. I returned them.

I wish they had a brass base.
