Does this look purple? Looks red to me... but this company doesn’t even sell red.

I previously order 50, C7-9C Ceramic Outdoor Christmas light bulbs for an old string of outdoor lights. I was unable to locate these replacement bulbs anywhere. I also needed C7-5C assorted to replace bulbs that were burned out or broken in an older string of light that were on the Christmas tree when I was a child back in the 40s. When I went on line and did a google search, I found Novelty Lights and found the C7-5C bulbs and I ordered 50 each of the assorted replacement bulbs. They look like the the older bulbs that were on tree back in the 40s. I rate the Novelty company a 5 star rating of the shipment in a timely manner, also none of them were broken. I would highly recommend this company to any one that are looking for older bulbs and for newer ones also. Thanks for your help in replacment bulbs. Charles in WV.

have the old candle sticks which required a new bulb. this item replaced the old burnt out bulb.

I ordered the purple lights. As some other reviewers have noted, when lit these are not really purple, theyre more pinkish with a lavender overtone. They do NOT look like the lights in the photo. The color appears to be just a coating on the bulb, and its unevenly applied, with dark speckles and a white line in it.

The bulbs are purple when theyre not on. Once there on,they are definitely pink. When you take a photo of it, it shows up white

Old school. Love it. Colors are deep, rich, and just what I wanted. Now, a year later, we bought more of these. None of our local stores have these available. Very good product and really like the warm light these provide. Festive at Christmas like in days of old.

Im so happy to get these c-7 lights i have alot of villages and other ceramic items that need to be lit and i love lighting them with multi colors. Again so hard to find actual c-7 lights everything has gone to LED

So happy to find these C7 replacement bulbs! Neatly packaged in perfect order. Delivered even sooner than expected in excellent condition. We continue to string old school C7 lights on our outdoor windows and are so happy to have these replacements on standby when needed.

Lights were fine unable to find in local stores

They appear more pink than purple for Halloween, and you get a few that burn out rather easily, but they arent bad for the money. Ill even re-use some of them for my Christmas tree.
