Greater than one weekI bought this new collapsible umber cause I got a new car in a different color then my previous car. Although it hardly rains here I still wanted it to match the new car. : -). I wanted one that opened automatically so this was just what I wanted. I didnt realize it closed automatically so that was a plus. Now, when I say close automatically, the head of the umbrella closed but you still have the pull it down to the base for it to collapse completely. Its small enough that I can put it in the cars door storage compartment. So I am happy.
