This Stand is exactly as I expected. A little bit heavy but steady on a table. I would say that I will probably not travel with it. But I find it very useful for making presentations when I need another screen to follow my notes on a tablet. This stand holds both a tablet and a phone. I dont regret purchasing it. The shipment is expensive, though

The hole on the base is to allow the two claws that hold the iPad through when you fold it , and also to allow the charging cord to come in under the base of the iPad Holder ! This is a Great Design .

Was in search of a tablet stand that could work in a variety of situations that wouldn’t break the bank. Picked this one because it could fold flat for traveling, and ability to hold different size devices in both landscape and portrait. Have used this every day since I got it (it arrived a day early - much appreciated). It’s lightweight yet sturdy and has multiple viewing angles. Got it at a good price too. Couldn’t be happier. This little stand is what I was looking for - it folds up small, is lightweight and I can read articles on my iPad when it is vertical. The stand is sturdy - they did it just right.
