Purchased the item a couple of weeks ago and glad I purchased it. It stays firm, not to heavy and allows for ample space to wrap cords in between from my laptop. Excellent item!

In genesis design. Easy to assemble and provides storage space for the keyboard when its not in use which in turn frees up work surface space. Its a keeper!

The stand is metal and really solid once assembled. I can lean on it a little and it still holds up. There’s grip pads for laptops. Easy to assemble and it came really quickly. This is the 3rd one I’ve bought. One for wife, one for home office, and one for work.
