Great for lifting to eye level and zooming.

Bought this for a Dell XPS15 - which is a larger/heavier laptop. This stand handles it find and has very stiff but movable pivots. I think it will work great with even 17 mobile workstation laptops.

good product, looks very nice and sturdy. Im noticing a very slowly dipping during usage, I wonder if there is a way to tighten the joints if they get loose over time...

Its a little stiff and awkward to adjust. My husbands laptop was either too big or too heavy to use this without toppling over. But its perfect for both my MacBook Air and my iPad and I am using it all the time. Great for FaceTime use too!

This stand is exactly at it is described on Amazon. Lightweight yet sturdy. Foldable but not loose. Thats the great part. I can adjust the angles. Takes a little bit of effort but that goes with it being sturdy. Also theres a small lip at the front to keep the laptop from sliding. And even a pencil or pen. My other stand hold the laptop on by friction with rubber. Which is OK. But I like this one much much better.k . Plus I could even pack it in my carry and use in flight,.
