When shopping I didn’t see any reviews of the black model, so here is a photo. The stand is sturdy and the black enamel finish is very nice. It seems to be powder coated instead of anodized. It’s more matte than glossy. Goes well with my black desk surface.

Very nice-looking stand, with a solid feel to the construction. Easily adjustable, yet supports my MacBook Pro with confidence. I got it to raise the laptop up for a better angle for videoconferencing. (Got a Bluetooth keyboard, too, so I dont have to reach up to the elevated keyboard.) Packaging was top-notch. Great purchase!

Clean design, And sturdy.

I was concerned it would not be very sturdy. But, it really is! My laptop doesnt move at all. I work from home and needed to revamp my workspace. This is perfect.

Although the temptation to lurch ahead with the neck and shoulders is ever present when working on a laptop, this device makes things at least slightly better. It certainly makes Zoom calls easier. Maybe I wont be a hunchback as early as I thought I would be.

I purchased this stand to accommodate my 17 HP laptop. I wanted a more ergonomic setup for my working from home. and this does the job nicely. I was a little hesitant to purchase this item seeing that many of its competitors were more expensive, but my fears were unfounded. It accommodates a large, heavy laptop, and the rubberized pads protect my tabletop and the computer. As a plus, the silver finish happens to match my laptops finish so well, it could be mistaken for OEM.
