It was just as described with excellent sturdiness and support for my laptop - a 15 MacBook Pro. Steady like a rock. Surprisingly tight at the beginning but made sense so as not to shift. It was also the perfect height in the front of the stand to fit over my Korg Kronos synthesizer which stood at 5 in the back so the 5.3 max height of this unit was beyond expectation.

I’m very happy with this stand. I work on 2 screens. The 2nd one is large so it’s nice to get my laptop screen up. I use a separate keyboard.

I can’t believe I have not purchased this many years ago. My neck would have appreciated it. Excellent product and very sturdy.

Not easy to raise and lower.

Being a rather short person, I had trouble using my laptop at standard table height and have never actually learned to use it on my lap. This stand is perfect for me. I have only one problem with it. I have a Lenova Yoga. There is a cutout on the back of the support part of the stand, meant to provide cooling to the computer, My computer is too small to reach the cutout and cant take advantage of that circulation feature.

Using this for my 2105 MacBook Pro 15.4. It stays in place and hinges are quite sturdy - does not move when put in place, which was my main concern. Really helps when using laptop screen to reduce neck strain.

Great puchase. Using it for my Surface notebook.

Great to use with working remotely with my laptop it clears room for easy keyboard and mouse use. I can not live without it.
