Conclusion: These bags are a MUST buy! The photo does not do them justice. Not only is the rose gold color beautiful, but the bags are sturdy and feel well-made of high quality material. I have also ordered the silver color, which are great too (although the rose gold are my personal preference). When they arrived, the top half of the bags were dented, and looked like the carrier had mishandled/shoved the package underneath some other heavy items. Clearly this was an issue with the carrier and not with the product itself. I initiated a return for the damaged items and within several hours of doing so, I received a message from the seller, Jess Nush. Jess explained that she is a small business owner and takes pride in her products--she was simply reaching out to get my feedback on the product and to see what she could do to improve the quality. (My return reason was displayed to her as defective, so Jess was seeking any elaboration that might help her understand how to correct the problem). I almost never post Amazon reviews and ordinarily do not respond to seller emails, but when I read this one, felt compelled to respond. During a time when most people were doing their shopping online, it was so rare that a merchant would make the effort to provide such individualized customer care. Needless to say, my experience corresponding with Jess was so positive that I placed a second order for the rose gold bags to show my support for her small business. They are stunning, excellent quality, and my gift-giving has been received with so many compliments on my bag choice. Other bags with a metallic finish have a tendency to feel cheap, flimsy, and crinkly, but these are quite the opposite! I have gifted (3) items using these bags already and each recipient commented on how beautiful the bag was. The bags are classic in design but in simmering colors. They are amped up classic totes in various colors. I used these to hold multiple beauty products that I was gifting for Xmas. These bags are big enough, so you dont carry too much. I was able to assign one color per person, so I knew to give which bag to which person. Thier first thoughts were ooh that bag is pretty. A gift bag for needed to wrap a gift for someone else held with high regard, I suggested using one of the bags they received my gifts in. The facial expression was one of insult, and shock I would dare say such a thing. I had to point out that you have multiples of same color, but it was not an option. I like wrapping gifts in a gift such as decorative boxes, and these bags have an everyday use appeal. I definitely recommend these multi-occasion bags.
