> 3 dayBought the mop a couple years ago. On my 3rd mop head not because of durability thought. They hold up really well. Once they get too dingy I toss them. I love this mop and have recommended it to many and given as a gift. The mop heads detach/attach easily. The angular design makes cleaning in corners easier and the corners of the mop head are great for chipping off dried/stuck on gunk.

> 3 dayTL/DR: The current EasyWring refills arent as good as what may have come with your current mop, and Ill buy generic going forward unless someone upgrades the fiber in the mop head. I agree with other reviews stating that these refills are markedly different from the original mop head that came with my O-Cedar EasyWring. The new mop head picks up dirt very well but it does shed to a degree that the original did not, creating more debris to clean up. Although I wash it in a delicates bag on cold/permanent press setting, I can see that it wont hold up for as many trips through the wash. (Word to the wise: no dryer on any of these mop heads!) This new mop head is microfiber, and really I suspect the original was as well. The difference: on the new head, each fat mopping strand is basically a compressed length of microfiber poof. (Yeah, thats a scientifc term.) On the old, I could tease that strand apart into plys, and just as with sweater yarn or rope, plying creates a different texture and lends strength. Its also probably more expensive to produce. I should also add that for all I know the mop head that comes with the current starter kit is the newer, downgraded kind. It would be a shame (can think of some harsher words, but well leave it at that) if the manufacturer packaged with your new mop system a mop head better than any replacement you can currently get with the product. Ive looked at a number of listings for knockoff replacement mo pheads and as far as I can tell, they are all the cheaper non-plied microfiber. The best you can do with any 3rd party refills for whatever is watch the reviews to see what the quality has been reported to be over the last 3-6 months, tops, because corner-cutting can happen over time. Thats true for both compatable and OEM products. I hope that if anyone ever finds a mop head closer to the original that used to be (still is?) included with the EasyWring that they will post that information in a review here. I can work with what I have, but Id certainly pay a little more to go back to a less aggravating mop.

> 3 dayI bought three of these refills for my O-Cedar Easy Wring Spin Mop. I purchased my mop earlier in the year at a store here where I live. I have to say this is the best mop I have ever had in my life and I have had many, from sponge mops to rag mops. For the first time in my life I dont dread taking my mop and using it. It is everything it should be. sometimes the head is a little floppy, but back and forth motion fixes that. I had not taken off the dirty refill, so this was a first for me. I was amazed at how fast and easy I change from the old head to the new one. Even better than that, I put the old one into the washing machine and ran it through twice and its as good as new and it was filthy, believe me. Best of all, I didnt have to touch the heads. I couldnt be more pleased if I tried. I would highly recommend this mop to anyone. I have pets, which means I use my mop constantly. My comment: I bought three refills now because when I bought my mop, the store where I bought it had refills to purchase. When I decided it was time to get a refill, they were selling a different brand and no refills for my mop to be found. I would recommend you buy at least one refill when you purchase your mop.

> 3 dayI didnt have the issue of it turning into a blob like some others however it is not nearly the quality I am accustomed to for this mop. The replacements used to be thick and durable but this latest one was a bit thinner and for the first time in the 2+ years Ive used these, some strands fell out when I was mopping. Truly disappointing. Item came in original O Cedar packaging so it was authentic, not a knock off which is even moreso disappointing that they are settling for a subpar quality for a higher price to the consumer. Unfortunately I may be switching to Libman in the near future if O Cedar doesnt fix the quality concerns.
