This is a common item anyone can purchase at a local plumbing supply. Fits right into your 4 inch pipe and tightens with 3 bolts. The hardest part is to break the original cast iron flange to set this one flat on the floor inside the existent pipe. If you just set this one on top of your cast iron flange, it would raise your toilet another half inch off the floor and not a good idea.

If you are looking to replace a cast iron flange or fit to a cast iron pipe, it’s a VERY SNUG fit. Be sure to clean the inside of your pipe for corrosion and stuck on debris BEFORE fitting.

Bought an older home where one toilet was rocking. As it turned out, the old cast iron flange was broken, so it wasnt mounted properly. I tried a similar item first, but couldnt bolt it to the floor, so the toilet still rocked slightly. Even though I dreaded dealing with another gross, sticky wax ring (who thought it was a good idea to make them that color??), I replaced it with this one that is tightened against the inside of the cast iron pipe. No more rocking and I hope to never see another wax ring! :)

fit perfectly into a 74 year old 4 drain, but plan on cleaning rust from pipe exterior with a wire brush before inserting this unit. Very pleased with results.

Raised our floor from adding tile work. Had a cast iron setup in the floor and the 1 side did not have a spot for the toliet bolt. Instead of replacing the whole cast iron setup I installed one of these. Install was fast, tightened it down and good to go. Been about 3 months now of use with no issues. Saved a ton of money with those product. Was not paid for this review or receive at a discount.

Worked great!! Best product out there in my opinion. My landlords bathroom floor was very bad and this fixed the problem, no leaks, didn’t have to do any other major work but take the old out, put new in and good to go!!

I was kinda nervous about this sealing into my old home floor pipe. The floor pipe isnt perfect round, it has bulges and dents, but this sealed. I YouTubed the installation so I had a lot of faith in how to do it.

Shipped fast, product worked well as fix for our busted old closet flange that was contributing to a leak at the toilet base - and saved us a call to the plumber, at least for now!
