I found this cleanser to be gentle and effective. Immediately after using it my skin felt slightly dry (live in AZ), but in the morning my skin was much softer with no dryness. I have only used the product for 2 weeks and my skin is already showing improvement in smoothness.

I use this face wash in combination with the Obagi toner. I like the consistency of this liquid and that makes it easy to use in my hands or with my face brush. It had a very light scent and works great with my combination oily/dry skin. I enjoy the Obagi products!

Ive been using this for over 24 years. Its wonderful on your skin and only takes a couple of drops to make a great lather for your face. Great for sensitive skin. Not harsh at all. Rinses clear.

This cleanser is gentle on my skin but still removes all my makeup easily leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth.

I have tried a ton of facial cleansers. This is the only one that truly cleans your skin without drying it out. Its worth the extra money. I was having issues with my skin thinking it was the products I was applying to my face. I realized the problem was more about not cleansing my face properly. This was all due to the cleansers I was using. I tried less expensive versions of the same type of cleanser but nothing compares to this one. I will never use anything else again.

Obagi is sold as a professional product. It is recommended by your skin care doctor. I have used this product for several years and think the product is a fine cleansing agent.

Very impressed with this product! This was the first time I tried the brand, although I heard about it from an older acquaintance who only used Obagi. The facial cleanser is fabulous: instantly smoothing, non-stripping, pore cleansing, and smelling naturally yet divinely, similar to some exotic flower. Only a pea-sized amount of rosy-colored cleanser was needed to clean my face and neck. The consistency is that of a liquid gel, just perfect. I feel like I just had an expensive spa facial treatment or an acid peel — my skin is that smooth. I also love the elegant packaging. The bottle has a screw-on oval top and has a very pleasant, minimalistic look and feel. I’m sure I will re-order. This is one “wow-effect” cleanser, and I have tried many.

It did leave my skin oily because of the other ingredients except for the Aloe. I do not use this anymore instead I choose to use Nutrogena wipes. I am 70 so this was important to me to have a soothing cleanser with no residue.
