Occidental Leather 6104 Compact Utility Bag

First I must say that I absolutely love Occidental products. I own: the 6101 Pro Trimmer Fastener bag, the 5035 H.D. 3-inch ranger work belt, the 5012 hammer holder, the 5066 cordless drill holster, and the 5527 offset snip holster. They are fantastic and worth every penny you pay. (and of course Made in the USA!) This bag however advertised measurements that are far off AND labeled as a compact bag. This bag is HUGE, almost the same exact identical size of my 6101 Pro Trimmer Fastener bag. (height & width) Although the description says 6 x 6 x 3 in, this bag is actually 13 x 8.5 x 5. Also important, the tolerances were so tight for my 3 belt, that I almost couldnt remove it from my belt. I had to hold the belt down with my foot while pulling with all my might on the loop/bag. I almost gave up but was finally able to remove it. I would have never been able to adjust its position on the belt while wearing it. (my other attachments can slide or adjust on the belt) So I packed this right back into the shipping box within a half hour of opening it - back to Amazon for a refund. By the way, I read ALL your reviews before buying any item off of Amazon, especially higher priced items. (thanks for your input!)

Great little trim bag as an electrician.

High quality and strong pouch

This is a really nice pouch and well made. I have 2 complaints about the pouch and maybe its just me and its designed purposely this way. The pouch its self hangs too low off the belt. I wouldnt it to be an inch or 2 less hang before I get to the pocket opening. The second complaint I have is the small pocket. I use a 35 foot lufkin tape measure and it barely fits although it does fit. The pocket is a bit small to be extremely useful and the whole pouch hangs so low the small pouch doesnt serve much purpose because you have to reach so far to get items out and again not much useful stuff will stay in this pouch. It is a good pouch but in my opinion has some drawbacks.

I like it. Nicely made, moderately priced, this model has no bells and whistles. Time will tell if I should have purchased the one with all the tool holders.

Good bag

Had to pay a little more, but it was so worth it. I really like occidental gear.

Used it as a third bag on my rear. Great for chalk-line and apron plane.

Carry this guy opposite my tools and it works well when doing rough in. Fits a lot of half inch couplings and connectors! I also have the clip on pouch from occidental and carry tex screws in it. I like it a ton!

As all occidental products that I have used it is well made but the leather will bleed some during brake in it will stain light clothing. This bag is larger then one thinks, it does not have a specific spot for a speed square but the square will fit in the large pocket.
